We’ve just found out that the fantastic 3rd Annual International Red Hook Film Festival has accepted our video for Karsh Kale into the program! We’re proud to be a part of the line-up at this year’s festival, which will be screening at the Brooklyn Waterfront Artist’s Coalition on October 3rd and 4th.
This year is the debut of the Chili Film Festival, a fun and free movie screening at Corbet Place behind Truman Brewery, as part of the Brick Lane Festival on Sunday September 10. Films are showing between 11:00am-8:30pm, all with the theme of “JOURNEY.” Check out how filmmakers from around the world interpret this idea in clever, amusing, heart-wrenching and artistic ways.
The Thousand Names Productions/TempestNYC/Brien Hindman Co-Production of several music videos for the German band Morgenstern were just screened at the Maschinenfest Festival in Germany to rave reviews. Zina Co-Directed and Co-Produced these videos.
GK2 has been accepted into the 1st Annual New York Vigilante Film Fest!
It sounds like it’s going to be a blast – In addition to the film screenings, there’ll be Mutant Bike Jousting and a Punk Rock Burlesque show! It’s also been selected as one of only three films to ‘preview’ the festival at “A Night of New York Films from the Atomic Underground.” They’re saying GK2 is “An awesome visual and audio experience”
We’re ecstatic to report that GK2 has won the “Best Music Video” Category at the International Festival of Horror! It was screened Halloween night with a fantastic audience response, and was one of only six films to be awarded – check out the winners at www.festivalofhorror.com. In addition, the video has been selected to be screened at the 2nd Anniversary 3RD I event in NYC, showcasing outstanding work by South Asian musicians and filmmakers.
We’re proud to say that Karsh Kale’s GK2 is now on rotation on MTV India. In addition, we’re also thrilled to report GK2 has been accepted into the International Festival of Horror!
